In 2004, we founded Automotive Parts Consulting S.à.r.l. to meet the rising demands of car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. With a new generation of engineering experts, we brought strategic competence in production processes, material science, casting and foundry technology, mechanical and plastics engineering, and construction design. We also covered critical supply chain engineering—vital to the just-in-time and just-in-sequence nature of automotive logistics. We didn’t just build components—we engineered reliability into every detail.

By 2015, apc had grown into a powerhouse of supplier enablement. Under the leadership of our founder Ralf Midden and his fellow engineering shareholders, we didn’t just build a network—we cultivated an ecosystem. With deep technical insight and trusted customer relationships, we enabled hundreds of suppliers to become long-term partners to leading OEMs. What set us apart wasn’t just the scale of our portfolio—it was the rigor, the relationships, and the results. We weren’t simply connecting companies. We were architecting ecosystems.

2015 marked a major inflection point. We chose to move forward—decisively. We professionalized every internal and external process. We looked beyond “parts” and embraced a mindset centered on solutions. We intensified our aerospace and defense customer relationships immensely, cultivating business opportunities in our history sector.
We started moving past our own name. “Parts Consulting” couldn’t capture our growing complexity. We didn’t just recommend—we designed, developed, and delivered solutions ourselves.

As our automotive expertise matured, we were called into defense avionics. As problem-solvers. Projects at risk needed urgent technical recovery, and we stepped in with full accountability.
We rapidly deployed expert engineering teams, embedded ourselves at customer sites, and led high-stakes redesign efforts for complex PCB systems.
Within weeks, we scaled our task force and restored project stability. What started as rescue work became a strategic role: leading, stabilizing, and transferring mission-critical solutions back to our customers.

We changed our name to reflect our reality—global, strategic, and cross-sector.
What began as a specialized technical consultancy evolved into a full-spectrum enabler of complex technical solutions. The name apc international captures the breadth of what we now represent: international reach, multidisciplinary strength, and a trusted presence across multiple industries.

As our customer base expanded across borders and sectors, our mission and vision followed suit—growing in ambition, depth, and responsibility. What never changed was our core: engineering excellence, strategic clarity, and unwavering standards. Our name changed. Our standards didn’t—they advanced.

In a city known as the cradle of European peace, we established apc GmbH—our German headquarters dedicated to sensitive, high-impact national interest projects. Osnabrück’s legacy of diplomacy and resolution mirrors our mission: staying close to our customers and closer to the responsibility of safeguarding their missions. It’s more than proximity—it’s alignment.
